Johanna was born to a Swiss dairy farming family. She met Pat during a Led Zeppelin concert in Hamburg in 1973. Together, they had a baby, Carla, who was born in Afghanistan days before Pat got busted and jailed for heroin trafficking. She was never to see Pat again as she died of Lupus just before he was freed.
