After days following the West coast of Africa, we passed Cape Agulhas and have been sailing through the Indian Ocean since then. Our world is so immense. Difficult to grasp why we all live and fight over such minute parcels of land and thoughts.

This letter is not meant to provide you with anything that might help you understand who I am and why I abruptly entered your life. Given that you wouldn't be alive if I had not, yet maybe you wouldn't ever have been threatened if I hadn't been around.
  
Should I be stuck in a time warp, that's where I'd chose to be. Sitting on a deck, writing to the roaring sound of diesel engines, endlessly looking over at the horizon, picking up words from the wind.
