Carla is a Swiss Federal Prosecutor. She was born in a VW bus on the road between Kaboul and Kandahar to a Swiss German hippie mother, Johanna, and an Greek-American father, Pat. Her mother died of Lupus when she was 4 and her father died of AIDS when she was 7. She was raised in a small town near Bern where her maternal grand parents ran a dairy farm then moved to the city to study law. She had several affairs with Swiss German men and has occasional intimate relations with women.
