Narrative timeline
This is the initial thread created by Pam. It is loosely written in the format of a television series and divided in 3 parts (seasons).
- Part 1: Follow the Money

Chronological timeline
Although the narrative does not follow a chronological order, The Venetian Cell is set in 3 different periods*.
- (1943-1953): from the signing of the Allies' armistice with Italy to the overthrowing of Iran's Mosaddegh government.
- (1979-1983): from the seizure of the US embassy in Tehran to the death of singer Klaus Nomi.
- (2010- ): from the launch of Episodia on.
*A futuristic period beginning on the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence (2026) is also being developed.
Annexes
Annexes are Mise en abymes, texts written by The Venetian Cell's characters.
- JAF2, an alternate ending to Anne Frank's The Diary of a Young Girl, is being written in French by Najwa.
- Axel's note to Neda is Najwa's only memento of her father.
- Isabella's letter to Anastasio was lost when the Royal Mail Ship carrying it sank in the Arabian Sea.
